The Courtyard Café

The Courtyard Café - Located in the West Wing/Kitchen Wing of Castletown House. 

Open Tuesday to Sunday and Bank Holiday Monday between 10am and 5pm. (Closed Good Friday 29th March)

Tours

Tours of Castletown are available Tuesday to Sunday and Bank Holiday Mondays from the 15th March to the 31st October. The visitor reception is open from 10am with the last admission to the house at 4.45pm.

From Tuesday 30th April to Sunday 30th June, Castletown will offer free, self guided tours to view the Prelude Speaker: Contemporary Castletown exhibition. (Guided tours will also be available throughout the day). Please note opening times for the exhibition are: Tuesday to Sunday and Bank Holiday Mondays 10am-6pm (last admission 5pm).

School Tours and Private group bookings are available throughout the year upon prior arrangement. Please e-mail castletown@opw.ie or telephone 01 628 8252 for bookings/enquiries.

Parkland Walks

We are currently restoring the beautiful parkland walks, pond, temples, ice-house, bath house, Ha-Ha's and avenues at Castletown.

The parkland gates are open 7am-10.30pm from May to August.

The Castletown parklands are open to enjoy and explore during daylight hours throughout the year.
